History
Established in 1972 under the name Tzamal Modern Medical Equipment, today Gil Medical is a leading Israeli medical equipment importer and distributor responsible for Ethicon Sutures & Ethicon Endo Surgery (J&J), Ohmeda - Venflon (purchased by B-D);Schneider-Stents & Balloons (bought by Boston Scientific) and St. Jude Valves, successfully penetrating the Israeli market.

Appreciated for its extensive expertise, Gil Medical holds a large market share and has strong bonds with all of Israel’s leading public and private hospitals, outpatient clinics, and healthcare funds. Additionally, the company has a sub-distributor in the Palestinian Authority.

Yehuda Gil, founder of GIL MEDICAL, is a known name in Israel thanks to his pioneering work in the importation of medical equipment.
